Description

This is a repair service for your BMW GM5 module.

These units are located behind the glove box in E46, E83, X3 and Z4, and next to the CD changer in the Z8. and are responsible for the central locking of your vehicle.

E46 – 3 series 1998-2005
E52 – Z8 (all years)
E83 – X3 2003-2010
E85 – Z4 2002-2008

The internal relays fail which causes all doors to be deadlocked and without getting the module repaired there is no other way to release the locked doors.

Some of the common issues you might experience are

  • Central locking not working.
  • Unresponsive central locking buttons.
  • Locking and unlocking of doors, boot,
  • Door locks making noise but won’t lock.
