Having your EIS re-manufactured rather than purchasing an expensive new unit means there is no need for further dealer security programming or coding to be done once the unit is returned to you, only after this, we pass it and it’s ready for dispatch.

All that is left for you to do is:

3. Send your: EIS (electronic ignition switch) and Key with the Repair Form
– For models W204 W207 W212, we will need the steering lock as well.
4. Await Repair while we have your part(s).
5. Once received, simply plug it in and turn the key.
6. In some cases you will require diagnostics to adapt / clear codes.

Description

This service is suitable if you have any of the symptoms listed below:

– The vehicle cannot be started

– Key turning in the ignition but no response – but car wouldn’t start (engine not turning over)
– The key is not recognised in the electronic ignition switch
– The automatic transmission goes into Park at speeds below 6 km/h.
– Intermittent Key faults

We are able to simulate all of these fault conditions on our specially made test rig to ensure the issues are tested before and after repair.
