The BCM is basically a box of relays and fuses, that connects all Electronic Modules to all your electrical parts such as; locks, lamps, sensors, switches, controls. The whole vehicles wiring loom terminates and starts from the BCM, including all security functions such as the central locking, immobiliser.

The BCM has its own microprocessor and is programmed to only be compatible on that vehicle as it syncs with all the vehicle electronic modules and carries the vin number.
