Honda ECU Repair Service Misfire Repair Keihin ECU – Jazz / Civic / CR-V Engines 1.3 / 1.4 / 1.8
This Service is only for Repairing Misfire faults only due to the ECU.
Honda ECU’s fails due to their complex injection timing which causes misfires or complete non starting, this is due to internal components which control the injector circuit fails due to repetitive high surge from when the injector opens and closes.
Even after replacing the injectors, plugs and coil pack the fault codes and misfire will remain.
This is a common indicator that the misfire problems is being caused by a faulty engine ECU.
This Problem is very common on all Hondas equipped with a VTEC or i-VTEC Engine (1.3 / 1.4 / 1.8 + more)
the common fault codes caused by this faults are:
- P0201 – Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Malfunction
- P0202 – Cylinder 2 Injector Circuit Malfunction
- P0203 – Cylinder 3 Injector Circuit Malfunction
- P0204 – Cylinder 4 Injector Circuit Malfunction
- P0301 – Number 1 Injector Signal Failure / Cylinder Number 1 Misfire Detected
- P0302 – Number 2 Injector Signal Failure / Cylinder Number 2 Misfire Detected
- P0303 – Number 3 Injector Signal Failure / Cylinder Number 3 Misfire Detected
- P0304 – Number 4 Injector Signal Failure / Cylinder Number 4 Misfire Detected
- P062F Internal Control Module EEPROM Error
- P062F PCM Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error
- Constant misfire
- Illumination of the engine management light EML (due to internal Error)
