Description
This Repair service is for mercedes CVT Automatic transmission ECU / TCU
The Common fault with these are the internal RPM sensors fail causing no reading to be provided to the ECU which then causes the gearbox not to change gears and stuck on limp mode.
The typical error code that show up in the diagnostic are:
- – P 0722 – The rpm signal from component Y3 / 9b5 (CVT (continuously variable automatic transmission) output rpm sensor) is not available.
- – P 0730 – The gear ratio in continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is not permissible.
- – P 0793 – The rpm signal from component Y3 / 9b4 (CVT (continuously variable automatic transmission) secondary rpm sensor) is not available.
- – P 0896 – the continuous variable automatic transmission (CVT) adjust the gear ratio to an impermissible slow speed
These Gearboxes are fitted on many mercedes such as: A150, A160, A170, A180, A200, B150, B170, B180, B200
and have various part numbers such as: A 1695451032, A 1695451062, A 0034462410, A 1693700406, A 1693700506, A 1693700606, A 1693700706, A 1693700806, A 1693701006, A 1693701106
