This service is a Test and Repair Solution for your BMW Li-on Batteries, all batteries undergo a strict MotorTronics testing program.

MotorTronics Testing Process

  1. Test output voltage to verify the voltage and confirm battery state of charge
  2. Disassemble battery
  3. test each individual cells internal resistance and make sure there are within specification
  4. Replace any bad internal cell if the reading are out of tolerance
  5. Charging of each cell independently and discharging to confirm each cells capacity
  6. Any internal cells  that are more than 10% of the of each other are replaced.
  7. Charging of the whole pack with battery management system to monitor all cell voltages while charging
  8. Programming of the internal battery LIN system to Activate / Reset battery back to operation mode
